The Ember Season at Chocolate City promised new exciting
releases- Number One is no exception. DJ Caise has consistently raised
the bar, moving from simply spinning at various clubs in the UK and the
US, on BeatFM’s In the Mix at 10pm on Fridays and serving as a Channel O
Basement VJ. In what he terms Gidi House Music, he combines
Euro-centric beats with ethnic sounds and Nigerian talent. Number One is
the perfect example. It was written and produced by Caise for the
indomitable powerhouse WAJE. Together, they create a unique sound that
leaves you with no choice but to take note.
